What Unity Roleplay keeps about you, why, and how to get rid of it. Last updated 19 October 2026.
This covers the Unity Roleplay game server, this website, our Discord bot, the URP launcher for PC and the URP SAMP Mobile Launcher for Android. Unity Roleplay is a fan-run server. We don't sell data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or sites.
Your game account
When you register on the server we keep:
- Your character name and a hashed copy of your password (never the password itself).
- Your e-mail address, if you give one.
- The IP addresses you connect from and your client serial (a random ID made by your game client). We use these to stop ban evasion and to keep accounts safe.
- Your character: money, items, property, jobs, playtime and the like.
- Logs of what happens in game, such as chat, commands, trades and kills. Staff use them to handle reports and appeals.
The mobile launcher (Android)
- Game server. Your nickname, a random ID made when you install the app (used for bans), your chat, and your voice while voice chat is on go to the server you join. Voice is passed to nearby players and not recorded.
- Crash reports. If the game crashes, the launcher sends us the report: your phone model, Android version and the game's log.
- Copy check. Once a day the launcher sends its version, its signature and the server you play on, so we can spot fake copies of the app.
- Discord. To save favourite servers you link your Discord account. We get your Discord user ID and name, add you to our Discord server and check you're in it. We don't see your messages or your password.
- Your files. The game, sound files and mods you load stay on your phone. They're never uploaded.
- Other servers you join from the launcher have their own rules about what they keep.
The PC launcher
While you play, the URP PC launcher runs anti-cheat checks and sends the results, with an ID for your PC, to our server. That's how cheat bans stay in place.
This website and Discord
The website keeps normal server logs (IP address, page, time) to keep it running. It sets no tracking cookies. On Discord, our bot sees what Discord shows any bot in our server: your user ID, name, roles and messages in our channels.
Who sees it
Server staff, for moderation. Nobody else, unless the law makes us.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your account at any time. See Delete your account. Uninstalling the mobile launcher removes everything it stored on your phone.
Children
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is rated for adults, and the mobile launcher is listed for players 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
