Our biggest update so far. Los Santos is now home to 400 citizens - real residents with a name over their head, a job, a home, a personality and a daily routine. They replace GTA's random walkers and traffic.
CITIZENS
- They go to work, run errands, drive around and sleep at night. You'll find them at the 24/7s, Pizza Stacks, Unity Gardens, the banks, the lake and on the roads
- Press G next to one to talk. They remember you, and how you treat them matters
- They sell what they find or make - haggle in person or by text. Everyone has their own price (permits never above $3,000)
- Swap Common trading cards with them (never for cash)
- Citizens can't be killed - the hurt ones go to hospital - and they never attack or rob players
THE CITIZENS APP (F1)
- Everyone in the city: who they are, what they're doing right now, what they're selling, and City life
- Text any citizen. Ask "where are you?" or tap the pin in Messages and they send their location or meet you somewhere (only people who know you)
FAVORS
- Citizens post favors in the new Favors section of the Ads app - tap Text to take one
- Handing out flyers and keeping lookout are quick minigames; risky favors pay more
- A 30 minute break between favors
POLICE AND MEDICS
- 911 calls now come from real citizens: shoplifting, car break-ins, dealing and burglaries. The suspect is marked on your map
- Tase and cuff the suspect, then
/arrestthem right where you caught them - Medics: talk to the patient with G and treat them;
/loadptand/deliverptwork without an ID

- Citizens post on Unity Social when big things happen in their lives (you can hide their posts)

- "Press G to talk" and favor timers now sit on the right side of the screen
