1.2.2

1.2.0 never went live on its own: its hotfixes joined it as 1.2.2.

New26

  1. Fishing. /fish starts and stops fishing at any water: one of the marked spots (their map is in /fishing) or the open ocean. A timing game for the cast, the bite and the fight. Fish go in a small bag (6, more with perks) or a vehicle trunk, and spoil an hour after they're caught. Old Pete sells rods, reels, line and bait; Marisol buys the catch and hands out the day's contracts. /fishing is the hub: gear, spots, journal, market, contracts and a guide. Treasure comes up now and then as a Valuable. Fishing is a skill with a Harbour perk tree.
  2. /inventory (/inv) is a panel: fish, valuables, materials and guns, and your car's trunk at its open trunk.
  3. Ranked duels. /duel [player] [bet] near the duel icon by the paintball stand: Sniper or Deagle, first to 5, 7 or 10, rated or practice, bets up to $20,000. A rating with monthly seasons, a ladder, a Hall of Fame and accuracy stats.
  4. Turf districts. Turfs group into the ten Los Santos districts. /districts (also /turfs, /turf) is a map of who holds what. War can only be declared on a turf next to your ground or your hideout's, owned turf can only be hit while an owner is online (or after the side has been gone 24 hours), 2 players declare and take a point, a fourth point opens at 8 fighters, and a contested point goes to overtime. Only Level 2 organizations claim turf.
  5. Everyone has the GPS (no longer an item). It shows the turf's name in a turf, in its owner's colour, with the district above it.
  6. Grove Street Families, Ballas and Los Santos Vagos are server gangs. Gang Management picks their leaders; join a set through the usual invite.
  7. Weapon crates can be sold (/sellcrate [player] [price]), and the Workshop stash can be packed into a crate of mixed guns.
  8. Referrals pay once your friend settles in (8 hours on 3 different days): Patron at 3, 5 and 10 friends, the recruiter Elegy at 10, and a monthly recruiters board (/referrals, /recruiters).
  9. Pony sound systems. Staff fit an amp and speakers to a Pony, and /vmusic plays it like a boombox while it's parked.
  10. A '[Y] Start engine' card while you sit in a car with the engine off.
  11. The clock is for everyone, switched in /hud (the wristwatch item and the hourly time line are gone). /hud is grouped.
  12. The Butcher has its own interior.
  13. Unity FM, a live DJ radio. Staff make a player a DJ (/setdj); the DJ streams from their PC with a free app like BUTT (settings and stream key in /djbooth, or a plain /dj) and the server announces them. /fm tunes in: nothing to install, 5-15 s behind the DJ. Tuned in stays on for the session, so the next show plays by itself; a car radio or boombox plays over it and Unity FM comes back after. /fm now shows who's on and what's playing. Staff: /djlist, /fmcut.
  14. /radio on its own in a vehicle picks one of the server's radio stations for the car. With text (or on foot) it is still the faction radio, like /r.
  15. /defaultradio (also /setradio) picks a station every vehicle you get in switches to: always when you drive, as a passenger only when the radio is off. /defaultradio off stops it.
  16. /quitfaction does the same as /quitgroup.
  17. Custom business interiors, starting with the Florist (a 24/7 shell with flowers, plants and counters). Staff pick it in the interior picker like any other (Custom Businesses); its objects only show inside the businesses that use it, never in a plain 24/7.
  18. Restaurants are delivery companies now (the Restaurant company type), each one a brand: Well Stacked Pizza (Pizzaboys), Burger Shot or Cluckin' Bell (Faggios). Same game for all three. Anyone can sign on at the restaurant (Y at the icon), which puts the brand's uniform on: the worker skin (155, 205 or 167), or, since GTA made each of those for one gender only, the brand's hat with your own clothes for a character of the other gender. Orders are only given out in uniform: /uniform, or H at a pickup spot. Get on a company bike, ride to a pickup spot and press H for a stack of orders. Food cools from the moment it leaves, and crashes, hard landings and coming off the bike knock it about. Every stop is on the map and they can be done in any order. At a stop: H at the back of the bike, then H at the door. Whoever answers rates the delivery 1 to 5 stars and tips on it. VIPs tip big, picky customers want it perfect, and hagglers want money off: give in or hold firm. On-time deliveries in a row build a streak (+5% pay each, up to +50%). Your rating and deliveries set your tier (Trainee, Driver, Senior, Pro): bigger stacks, more VIPs and, for Pro, the company car. The strip on the left sits where the trucking one does; /delivery shows your record and the whole stack.
  19. Rush hours at the restaurants. Lunch (12:00-14:00) and dinner (18:00-21:00) on the game clock: more orders for two and 25% more pay, and on-duty drivers are told when one starts and ends.
  20. /map > Jobs has Food delivery: it marks the nearest restaurant.
  21. /orderfood <pizza | burger | chicken> [1-2] (or /orderpizza, /orderburger, /orderchicken) has a real driver bring food to where you stand ($75 each, it heals). /cancelfood calls it off.
  22. Weapon crates. The Workshop bench has a CRATE tab (Gunsmith: Batch Production): pack 2 to 10 of one gun in one sitting, one timing game for the lot, every gun the same grade. The crate goes into your arms. H at the back of your own vehicle with the trunk open loads it (2 fit, besides the 3 trunk gun slots) and lifts one out again; anywhere else H sets it down. Anyone can take a gun (with one magazine) out of a crate on the ground; the owner can also lift it back up. Crates on the ground are saved until they're empty, up to 5 per player. Cracking a trunk with a lockpick lifts a crate out too. Dying, getting cuffed or logging out drops a carried crate. /guncrate lists yours; /guncrate down sets yours down.
  23. /give <player> <item> [amount] for every player. Hand someone next to you things you own: drugs, materials, gun components, a gun (rounds and condition go with it), rope, rags, screwdrivers, tires, paper, cigars, Sprunk, spraycans, fireworks, syringes or first aid kits. Cash is still /pay.
  24. Buy server property with Unity Coins. /buyhouse, /buybiz, /buycompany and the new /buydoor ask whether to pay in cash or coins (1 coin = $10,000 of the price, rounded to a store pack when close, so a $250,000 company is 24 coins). Each account can buy one of each kind with coins every 30 days. A company bought with coins sells back to the state for its balance only. Cash left in a business safe or company balance, and the resale value of an existing company fleet, is cleared on a coin purchase. Players only see it once the coin shop opens.
  25. Other one-off server purchases of $10,000 or more can be paid in Unity Coins too, at the same rate: hideouts (a third row next to cash and materials), islands and island upgrades, founding an organization, /resetupgrades, the gun licence, paid name changes (level 5+), the house-market listing fee and renewal, and weddings (/propose [player] coins). If the server can't deliver (no island slot, the organization never forms), the coins are refunded. Levels, fighting styles, guns, ammo and drugs stay cash only.
  26. Playtime Patron. 12 hours played: Emerald for 3 days; 32 hours: Sapphire for 3 days; 64 hours: Diamond for 2 weeks; 200 hours: Diamond for 3 weeks; 400 hours and every 200 after: Diamond for 4 weeks. Players already past a milestone get their highest one once.

Changed16

  1. The tazer works like GTA V's. One charge, refilling over 5 seconds on the bar above the weapon icon (blue while it fills, READY when full). Only a full charge fires; until then the trigger is dead and nothing is hit. It always holds 2 rounds, so it never runs out and drops from your hand.
  2. Faction members can work for a company as an Intern (R0) while they're off faction duty. Going on faction duty clocks the company shift off. Ranks above R0 and owning a company still mean leaving the faction.
  3. Unowned houses, businesses, doors and companies are not for sale for now.
  4. Server cars respawn after an hour in a random colour, and everyday cars, bikes and motorbikes as a random model of the same kind.
  5. Taxi companies run without an owner, like trucking.
  6. /sell is for materials only (any price); rim kits and PVIP vouchers are gone from it.
  7. The engine (Y or /car engine) works once every 3 seconds.
  8. /links and /qr show on top of everything, low on the right.
  9. Doors, houses, garages and businesses never freeze you on the way in or out.
  10. A restaurant bike left away from its spot, empty, goes back to it after 5 minutes (it was 30).
  11. A server dealership car with no coin price set now sells for coins at the same automatic rate ($10,000 a coin); a coin price staff set still wins.
  12. Guns from a faction locker, /allow or crate (any group but a gang) are faction issue. They can't be dropped, stored, sold, salvaged or given to anyone outside the faction, go back to the locker on duty off, and are taken away when you leave the faction. LEO Withdraw Ammo only fills the locker's own guns.
  13. The trucking board says when every freight terminal is too close (under 1.2 km) to the company's bay.
  14. With FMD on duty a downed player waits 15 seconds (was 5) before /accept death, and once a medic has taken the call, giving up costs $250-500 (more the closer they were).
  15. Courier rounds visit their stops in route order, nearest first. Back at the loading bay you can replace cargo you lost on the road and finish the round. Trucking drivers keep 75% of a run by default (was 60%).
  16. Weapon damage is one fixed amount per gun: Colt 12, Silenced 13, Deagle 40, Uzi/Tec-9 7, MP5 9, AK-47 13, M4 12, rifle 30, sniper 45; shotguns up to 45/40/32 (shotgun/sawn-off/SPAS).

Fixed10

  1. Cuffing a tazed player left their camera shaking for minutes.
  2. The paintball end card is small, at the bottom of the screen, and says 2nd or 3rd PLACE (it read "2 PLACE").
  3. Bike passengers died on crashes the driver walked away from.
  4. Tino only salvaged guns under 70% condition.
  5. Texting someone sent back a blank automated reply.
  6. The anti C-bug freeze could last until staff unfroze you.
  7. Paintball kept you as CJ after a real death in a match, others saw you lying down after a tag, and the kill feed stayed after leaving.
  8. The Workshop now says what you're short of.
  9. Gov Arms paid for a gun you had already dropped.
  10. Sirens are for emergency services only. A client mod could turn on a siren in any car and the server then put a police light in its dashboard; /siren on a faction car also skipped the check.

Removed02

  1. The faction crate system is shelved until its rework.
  2. The "Purchase House" coin item in the old house shop (an admin had to hand the house out); /buyhouse takes coins directly.
